The UMMA Camp
Theme: Basira | From Confusion to Conviction
About the UMMA Camp
Join the UMMA at Camp Cavell — located just 1.5 hours from Metro Detroit. The site includes cabin accommodations, meals, and beach access along Lake Huron. Campers are required to bring their own bedding.
Theme: Basira | From Confusion to Conviction
Many people see the world, yet few truly perceive it. Basira is the insight of the heart—the ability to see beyond the physical. When the heart lacks this clarity, life can feel scattered and contentment becomes difficult to find. But when the heart awakens, confusion turns into conviction and gratitude replaces restlessness.
Through a series of engaging sessions and discussions, participants will explore how developing Basira helps us navigate modern challenges, strengthen our faith, and engage the world with clarity and purpose. The program also features a variety of outdoor activities including kayaking, bonfires, volleyball, archery and hiking—providing time to reflect, recharge, and build meaningful connections.
